The 8th Hospice of the Sacred Heart Remembrance Walk is Saturday, September 26th at McDade Park in Scranton. Registration begins at 8:30 AM and the walk follows at 10 AM. This event attracts more than 1,000 walkers.

This 6-week program is open to anyone who has lost a spouse, partner or significant other to help work though the pain of grief and develop effective coping skills. This special, commemorative program for children and their families who have experienced the loss of a loved one will memorialize loved ones, acknowledge feelings, and create something symbolic for the holiday season as a remembrance. Child's Loss of a Parent
Wednesday, Beginning October 7, 2026 through October 28th, 2026 at 30 E.D. Preate Drive, Suite 108. This four-consecutive week grief education series is for children aged 6-12, and their parents and/or guardians, who have suffered a loss from the death of a loved one.
